Mount Pleasant
This series of mirrorscapes began on Mount Pleasant in central New York. The eastern and western sky is captured in the frame of one lens. The photographs fragment and unite the sky at the transition from day to night. The juxtoposition changes our perception of color and place. No digital editing is used to compose the collage or manipulate the color.
